Peter Marchl is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree with a Minor in Economics. Hired by a national bank in Toronto, before even graduating, he worked as part of a team assisting high net worth clients with their wealth management needs. After gaining extensive experience in all facets of wealth management he moved to Thunder Bay with his wife. Peter was soon hired on to work with Jerry Gothard at Capital Financial Services, a firm with a proud 30 year history of serving clients in North Western Ontario. Jerry and Peter worked closely as a team to assist clients with their wealth needs. In 2010 Peter and Jerry implemented a succession plan where Peter would take the lead role in managing client accounts. At the same time Capital Financial Services merged with NorMaxx Financial Group, another respected Thunder Bay based wealth management firm. With this merger Peter was able to partner with Roland Laframboise from the NorMaxx Financial Group to begin cooperatively working with clients. Peter is an active member in Shift, a young minded professional organization active in the community. In his spare time you will see Peter and his wife curling in the Mixed Curling League at the Port Arthur Curling Club, and competitively sailing on the boat AirAura in the Thunder Bay Yacht Club. Since moving to Thunder Bay Peter has taken full advantage of everything Northern Ontario has to offer and has fully embraced the life style by hunting, fishing, camping and skiing as much as he can.
